Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Hotel Ladakh Indus River Front, we understand that plans can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and modifications to your bookings. By making a reservation with us, you agree to the following policy.
1. Room Booking Cancellation Policy
Standard Season (October to April)
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the check-in date: Full refund minus transaction fees
- Cancellations made 3-6 days before check-in date: 70% refund
- Cancellations made 48 hours to 2 days before check-in date: 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in date: No refund
- No-shows: No refund; full booking amount will be charged
Peak Season (May to September)
- Cancellations made 15 days or more before the check-in date: Full refund minus transaction fees
- Cancellations made 7-14 days before check-in date: 70% refund
- Cancellations made 3-6 days before check-in date: 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 3 days before check-in date: No refund
- No-shows: No refund; full booking amount will be charged
Special Events & Holidays
For bookings during special events, festivals, or national holidays:
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before check-in date: Full refund minus transaction fees
- Cancellations made 15-29 days before check-in date: 70% refund
- Cancellations made 7-14 days before check-in date: 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in date: No refund
- No-shows: No refund; full booking amount will be charged
2. Group Booking Cancellation Policy
For bookings of 3 or more rooms:
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before check-in date: Full refund minus transaction fees
- Cancellations made 15-29 days before check-in date: 75% refund
- Cancellations made 7-14 days before check-in date: 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in date: No refund
- No-shows: No refund; full booking amount will be charged
3. Modifications to Existing Bookings
- Modifications to existing bookings are subject to availability.
- Date changes requested 7 or more days before check-in (14 days for peak season): No penalty if the new booking value is equal to or greater than the original booking.
- Date changes requested less than the above periods: Treated as a cancellation and new booking.
- Shortening stay after check-in: No refund for the unused portion of the original booking.
4. Early Departure Policy
In case of early departure:
- No refunds will be issued for early departure or unused nights once you have checked in.
- The full amount for the original booking period will be charged.
5. Refund Process
When a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after approval.
- Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original booking.
- Bank processing times may vary and are beyond our control.
- Transaction fees charged by payment gateways or banks are non-refundable.
6. Force Majeure
In case of events beyond our control (natural disasters, governmental actions, etc.):
- We may offer rebooking for a future date without penalty.
- If rebooking is not possible, a full refund may be issued at our discretion.
- Special considerations will be made for travel restrictions imposed by governmental authorities.
7. Online Booking Errors
If you believe there was an error in the online booking process:
- Contact us within 24 hours of making the booking.
- Provide booking confirmation and details of the alleged error.
- Each case will be reviewed individually.
8. Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional circumstances (serious illness, death in the family, etc.):
- Contact us as soon as possible.
- Provide relevant documentation supporting your claim.
- We may, at our discretion, offer special cancellation terms.
9. Gift Cards & Vouchers
- Gift cards and vouchers are non-refundable.
- Validity periods as mentioned on the voucher/gift card will be strictly followed.
- Extensions may be granted in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.
